Franz Ferdinand v3.0:
Scot indie rockers Franz Ferdinand recently released their third studio album "Tonight", with a bit more grit and full on rock and roll than previous disks. This album's concept was loosely based around a night of partying and the morning effects after. Listen live at the end of this post.

Their self titled break out album (and no, we don't mean
Breakout album as in Miley Cyrus), starred "Take Me Out" one of the top unrequited love songs of all time, rock and roll style bagpipe that is.

That debut album's other 10 songs didn't disappoint, with the German ending of "Darts of Pleasure": Ich heiße Superphantastisch! Ich trinke Schampus mit Lachsfisch! Ich heiße Su-per-phan-tas-tisch!

Rockin' tuxedos are featured in the new Ulysses video, from vintage finds to decadent satin finish, these boys know how to tear it up in a laudrymat, while pairing a tux with sneakers. True style for the boys from Glasgow.

In looking through our Glasgow photos we found this. Not to fret, the photo is taken from the passanger's point of view, all because of our colleague that has a bridge with the same name.

Deco Belle Inc. will be presenting some of our favorite Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired jewelry as well as a new Celtic tribal jewelry in our New Items page. Bennie and the Jets isn't just a popular Elton John song, it's also the name of a German rock band, who have given the name their own spin as Benny + The Jets

It's hip, refreshing, and cool though in full on Deustch and all, but we very much like their hit song, "Ich Liebe Alles An Dir". This song can be found on myspace.

They proudly declare "Of course, it’s no secret that many of the best songs are the product of lovesickness. In fact, we should almost be glad that so many hearts have been broken in the name of some of the greatest songs."

The group hails from Munich, but we are sure that this Bavarian foursome will be a hit world wide. Deco Belle has recently picked up some beautiful German earrings made with Swarovski Austrian crystals, which we will soon add to the www.DecoBelle.com website. Jewelry makers around the world use these crystals, from Thailand, to Mexico and in between. The German jewels that we brought back are distinctive in northern European design.

We're enjoying Etienne Daho's new album, L'invitation. Etienne Daho has enjoyed worldwide acclaim as the avant-garde artist who represents French pop. His extensive repertoire is likened to that of Madonna, in the 1990's he broadened his range to include American influences. He is noted for his characteristic whispering manner.

Such is the admiration in France for this artist, that celebrated musicians such as Benjamin Biolay, Coralie Clement, and Daniel Darc, have recorded a tribute album, "Tombes pour Daho", compromising of 15 songs, rearranged covers. The album drops tomorrow, February 25th.

Touring for the L'invitation album begins next month in Europe. Deco Belle global jewelry keeps you up to date with fresh world music, art, lit, film, and news in culture.
